Board of Directors

Mr. Mori Arkin - Chairman of the Board

Mr. Arkin was the principal shareholder and Chairman of Agis Industries (1983) Ltd. from its establishment in 1983 and until its merger with Perrigo in 2005. Agis, one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in Israel, merged with the U.S. company, Perrigo, in March 2005 in an $850 million transaction. Currently, Mr. Arkin is a member of boards of directors in various companies. Mr. Arkin has a degree in psychology from the University of Tel Aviv.

Mrs. Dalia Kleiman, CPA(Isr.), C.I.A.

Mrs. Kleiman serves on the HealOr board of directors since 2002. Mrs. Kleiman has an extensive experience of over 15 years as a financial, commercial and operational executive officer in Israel and abroad. Mrs. Kleiman serves as a C.F.O. of E.F.D. diamonds group of companies, a leading international diamonds group, that is a  SightHolder of the DeBeers group of companies, and operates in Israel, New-York, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong-Kong, Bangkok, Chaing-Mai, Antwerp and Moscow. Mrs. Kleiman serves as a chairman of the board of several high-tech and motion companies, and as an internal auditor of Kiryat-Yearim Municipality. 

Ms. Ruti Alon

Ms. Alon joined Pitango in 1998. With over 26 years of international experience in the high-tech medical industry, Ms. Ruth Alon heads the life sciences activities at Pitango. Ms. Alon previously worked on Wall Street where she held senior positions with Montgomery Securities and Kidder Peabody & Co. As a senior medical device analyst, Ms. Alon was rated as one of the top in her field for four consecutive years. She also managed her own independent consulting business in San Francisco, providing broad-based services to early-stage companies and venture capitalists in the medical devices industry. Ms. Alon has a B.A. in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.B.A. from Boston University, and an M.S. from the Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons.

Mr. Gil Bianco, CPA(Isr.)

Mr. Bianco has over 20 years of executive management experience. Before joining HealOr, Mr. Bianco served as CEO of Agis Industries where he has transformed Agis Ltd. from a local enterprise with a turnover of $15 million into a multimillion dollar internationally known pharmaceutical company. In 1992, Mr. Bianco lead the IPO of Agis on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and in 1994 he played an active part in the acquisition of Clay-Park Labs Inc. by Agis and was appointed to Clay-Park's Board of Directors. He is currently director at the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, Topspin Medical, Biocancell and is involved in several other biotech companies.

Mr. Freddy Shaviv

Mr. Shaviv is a leading expert in management of pharmaceutical a chemical industry. Before joining HealOr, Mr. Shaviv served as CEO of ChemAgis and VP of Agis Industries. Prior to that Mr. Shaviv held several management positions in Teva R&D. Mr. Shaviv has extensive international experience in business development in the US, Europe and the Far East. Currently Mr. Shaviv serves as director of several companies in the biotech field. Mr. Shaviv consults HealOr on CMC and regulatory development and business development.

Dr. Pini Orbach, Ph.D

Dr. Orbach is the Head of Pharma at Arkin Holdings Ltd. Prior to joining Arkin Holdings, he was the CEO of Optimata Ltd. and previously he served as CEO of CytoD Ltd., Senior Director of Pre-clinical Development at Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, Boston, MA, and Director of Product Development at Epix Pharmaceutical, Lexington, MA (NASDAQ: EPIX), where he directed diverse drug development activities. In addition, he is currently the CEO of NanoDoc Technology Ltd., director at HealOr Ltd., & NanoDoc Technology Ltd., member of  NGT's steering committee (a technology incubator located in Nazareth), and he is involved in several other biotech & pharmaceutical companies.  Dr. Orbach received his Ph.D., from the Department of Physiology and functional genomics, University of Florida, Gainesville Florida, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Center, MGH- Harvard Medical School, MA USA.
