Prof. Itamar Raz, MD
Mr. Raz is a director of the Hadassah Center for the Prevention of Diabetes, Jerusalem, Israel and president of D-Cure, a foundation that supports research in the field of diabetes. Dr. Raz also served as the president of the Israel Diabetes Association, and the head of the Israel National Council of Diabetes. He serves on several advisory boards and is a member of several editorial boards, including the Israeli Medical Association Journal (IMAJ). He heads the Diabetes Clinical Research Center which is involved in numerous projects studying the efficacy of different and novel therapies for diabetes. |
Prof. Peter Sheehan, MD
Prof. Sheehan is the director of the Diabetic Clinical Division At the Mount Sini-Cabrini Hospital. He was appointed chairman of a panel created by the American Diabetes Association to disseminate information to clinicians on the treatment of the diabetic foot. Prof. Sheehan has served as Program Director of the Wound Healing Science and Industry Meeting, an annual conference convened to disseminate information about new therapies for wound treatment. He is a member of the editorial board of Vascular Disease Management. He is a pioneer in vascular medicine as the field relates to wounds and is currently on the board of the American Diabetes Association. |
